Terms

The terms you buy on. They are written to be read rather than to be survived, and where the law already gives you something better than this page does, the law wins — nothing here takes a statutory right away from you.

What you are buying

A personal, non-transferable licence to use the practice material and the simulators on this site for as long as the site runs. One payment, for one person. There is no subscription, no renewal and no card kept on file.

What each tier contains is listed on the pricing page, which is the version that counts on the day you buy.

Prices and payment

Gold is £49, Platinum £89, and £40 to move up from Gold to Platinum once you hold Gold. A one-to-one session is £79, or £59 if the email you paid with holds Platinum. All prices are in pounds sterling and are what you pay — there is nothing added at the end.

Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never to this site. The price charged is the one Stripe holds for the product; if a figure written on a page here ever disagrees with it, the checkout page is right and the mistake is ours to fix.

Your tier follows the email address you paid with, which is why signing in is a link to that address rather than a password. What you hold is worked out by asking Stripe, so a purchase made on another device appears here within a day, and so does a refund.

Fourteen days to change your mind

Practice material is digital content you get immediately, so two things are worth separating:

A refund takes the tier away: within a day while you stay signed in, or immediately if you sign out and back in. If you refund a Gold that a £40 upgrade was built on, the upgrade grants nothing on its own, so ask for both back together.

None of this affects your rights if the material is faulty or not as described. Those rights last far longer than fourteen days and are not conditional on anything in this section.

One-to-one sessions

A session is about an hour, by video call or by phone, with a written summary within two working days. The booking terms are on the coaching page and are these:

A session is a service rather than digital content, so the statutory fourteen-day cancellation right applies to it until it has been performed. Where the forty-eight-hour rule above would give you less than the law does, the law applies.

What you may not do with it

The guides, the exercises, the scenarios and the photographs are original work. Buying a tier buys you the use of them, not the right to pass them on:

Printing the paper packs for your own practice is exactly what they are for, and showing a page to a friend who is applying is not what this section is about.

What this is not

If something goes wrong

Email the address above first. Most things are a mistake rather than a dispute and are quicker to fix than to argue about.

If a fault here costs you something, what can be claimed is the kind of loss that follows naturally from the fault, up to what you paid. What is not covered is a lost opportunity — a failed assessment, a job not offered, time off work — because no practice material can control the thing being assessed. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing in it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

The site may be unavailable from time to time: a deploy, a host outage, something broken. The simulators are built to keep working offline once installed, which is the mitigation we can actually offer.

Changes

These terms can change. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought, and the date at the top of this page says when it last moved. A change will not reach back and take away something you have already paid for.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of your own local consumer law and can bring a claim in your own courts.
